10 Tampa Bay: CBS Coverage for Florida's Gulf Coast

Branded 10 Tampa Bay, WTSP is the CBS station serving the Tampa–St. Petersburg market on Florida's Gulf Coast. It covers a wide and growing region, from downtown Tampa and Ybor City to St. Petersburg and Clearwater, out to the Gulf beaches, the suburbs of Brandon and Wesley Chapel, and the communities that ring Tampa Bay across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties.

Life on the Gulf Coast comes with its own rhythms, and the station's coverage follows them. 10 Tampa Bay keeps a close watch on the weather that defines a Florida year, from the daily afternoon thunderstorms and lightning that give the area its reputation to the intense summer heat and the hurricane season that keeps the whole region alert, watching the tropics for storm surge and evacuation orders. When a system threatens the Gulf, the forecast becomes the most important story on the air.

Alongside the weather, viewers count on the station for breaking local news, Tampa and St. Petersburg city government, county politics, and the traffic that crawls across the Howard Frankland, the Gandy, and the Sunshine Skyway and along the interstates of the bay area. There are consumer and investigative segments that stand up for residents, schools and public-safety coverage, and community and human-interest stories that reflect this fast-growing stretch of Florida, plus sports in a market that follows its Buccaneers, Lightning, and Rays.

You can stream 10 Tampa Bay with no subscription or signup required, watching live and free on NewsPlay. It is an easy way to stay in touch with Tampa, St. Petersburg, and the communities around the bay, wherever you are watching from.
