1) Agreement
By using NewsPlay (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2) What we do
NewsPlay provides a cable-style interface to discover and navigate official third-party live streams (e.g., YouTube). We do not host or control those streams; availability can change without notice.
3) Your account
Parts of the Service are available without an account. If you create one, you’re responsible for your credentials and activity. We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
record/download/restream embedded content; circumvent player restrictions; infringe IP or privacy rights; interfere with the Service; access non-public areas; introduce malware; or use the Service unlawfully.
5) Intellectual property
- The NewsPlay interface, design, and original content are owned by Northover Media and licensed for personal, non-commercial use.
- Videos, logos, trademarks in embedded players belong to their owners.
- Embedded players are used under platform terms (including YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy).
6) Third-party links & embeds
We link to and embed third-party services. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
7) Sponsorships & ads
We may show ads or sponsorships around the player (not over it). Sponsored labels/disclosures may appear near placements.
8) Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted operation or that any stream will be available.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing here excludes/limits non-excludable consumer guarantees.
9) Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Northover Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of resupply.
10) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Northover Media for claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
11) Changes, suspension, termination
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or for operational/security reasons.
12) Governing law
